This colourful and health-packed salad give a great autumn harvest. It forms a loose head with light, green leaves. The reddish spots add extra aesthetics to the meal.
Sow from June 20 to mid-July into seedling trays. Transplant out to the field in late July to early August at a distance of 40 ✕ 30 cm. Trim roots and leaves before transplanting and make sure there is sufficient moisture during the growth phase. Endive loves nutrient-rich soil.
