Serradella is an excellent annual green manure. Indeed, it is a robust legume adapted to poor environments that enriches the soil with nitrogen. It thus improves soil fertility. It is also interesting for bees. It will continue to grow even at low temperatures until late autumn (resistant to -5°C). It does not grow as well in calcareous soils.
Sow the mixture in the well-prepared soil from April to the end of August. Cover lightly with a rake.
