This dark green and glossy leaf is the perfect addition to salads. In fact, it does great overwintering and lets you collect fresh, tasty salad greens into winter. Extend the length of time you have fresh veggies with this addition to your garden.
Sow from the end of July and into August in rows 10–15 cm apart. Keep weed free. Harvest from winter until spring. Earlier seeding hardly ever bolts. It is ideal to plant into previously harvested beds and double crop.
