Sow from April directly into the garden bed in rows 40 cm apart. It grows quickly and effortlessly to one or two meters high. Use the young shoots and small leaves in salads, cooked like spinach, steamed, or sauteéd with oil. It has a long harvest season from June to October. It gives a bountiful yield.
