With its violet pods, this pea catches everyone’s attention and then tastes great too; thus validating their interest. It is also very hardy and filling. Unfortunately, it has almost been forgotten by growers which is a shame since all who grow it love it. It grows up to 2 m high with both violet flowers and pods. The peas can be used fresh or dried and used in soups.
