This oil gourd, grown traditionally in Styria, was sourced directly from a local farmer. Its unique characteristic is the lack of a shell on its seeds, making them perfect for both oil extraction and as a raw snack. The flesh of the gourd can also be consumed, although other varieties have a better taste. In addition, the seeds are believed to have natural preventive benefits for prostate health. Enjoy the many benefits of this versatile and nutritious gourd.
