The seemingly magic flower opens its funnel-shaped flowers late in the afternoon. It blossoms into the early morning hours as it exudes a deep,heavy perfume. Moths are attracted to the scent. The flower itself is a miracle. The individual petals vary in colour or sometimes, even within the same petal. Be sure to get to know this one! Height reaches 100 cm.
Sow into seedling trays in late March. Transplant out into the field in late April at a distance of 40 ✕ 40 cm. For direct seeding, sow in mid-April planting large individual seeds 40 cm apart and 2 cm deep. Works well in large balcony pots also. Sunny to half shade locations are prefered.
