The eggplant "Listada di Gandia" is an exceptional variety that captivates with its beauty and flavor. Its robust and healthy plants are adorned with light purple flowers. The first fruits catch the eye with their violet hues streaked with white and their oval shape. Not only are they visually appealing, but they are also delicious to taste. That's not all; the yield of this variety is also impressive, offering up to 10 kg of eggplants. The harvest extends from August to September. The plant can reach a height of 100 cm.
Sow early into seedling trays by the end of February. Keep them in a warm place protected from frost. Transplant into the field after May 20 at a distance of 60 cm on all sides. In a greenhouse you may sow from the beginning of May. Always pinch off the first set of flowers to encourage sturdy stalks and deep roots.
